The Stadtspiel or city game which was created during the multi-lateral youth encounter called “Multi”, poses groups of youth with questions in English and German leading them through the city. The questions are formulated in such a manner that the youth are forced to walk through Oberhausen with their eyes wide open. Otherwise, they will not be able to answer them (e.g. how many sheep does the sheepherder look after at the Holtener Bahnhof?). Moreover, the youth get to know Oberhausen’s streets and public transit system. Neighbourhood-related topics and group-specific variations of the city game are possible.
