International youth encounters

The City of Oberhausen hosts international youth encounters in annual rotation with the countries England, Estonia, Finland, Israel, Poland, Italy (Sardinia), Turkey and Ukraine.

This year, Oberhausen youth, ranging between 14 and 17 years old, will go to the individual countries.

From 23 July to 6 August 2006, the MULTI will take place here with youth coming from different countries and staying with families from Oberhausen. The youth programme includes, among other things, the Stadtspiel or city game, project days, commemoration day, dragon boat races and family weekends.
